1. The main purpose and basic composition of the machine tool
1.1 Main uses
The machine tool is a special machine tool for rolls. It is mainly used for steel mills to process the pass of the roll body. A special machine tool is used to process the pass and repair of the pass of various rolls with a roll diameter of Ф100 ~ Ф500mm. It can also perform rough machining on the outer cylindrical surface of the roll and some other shaft parts.

3. Introduction to the main structure of the machine tool
3.1 Bed
The bed has four guide rails, a bedside box is installed at the left end of the bed, the oil sump is located outside the bed body, which is convenient for maintenance, and the oil sump is used for lubrication of the headboard. The knife holder, tailstock and center frame are installed on the bed and can move longitudinally along the guide rails.
There is a chip removal channel between each rail of the bed, and iron chips can be discharged to the ground behind through the chip removal hole for removal.
3.2 Headboard
The headstock is a closed box, which is equipped with all the main transmission mechanisms from the main motor to the main shaft. The main motor is the main shaft servo motor, and the stepless speed change of the pure gear transmission makes the main shaft obtain the speed range of 3 ~ 330r / min.
The power of the main drive is transmitted to the headstock by a 22KW AC asynchronous motor through the pulley. All the drive shafts are installed on rolling bearings. The main shaft is mounted on high-precision double-row cylindrical roller bearings with adjustable radial clearance. To make the spindle rotate smoothly and with high precision.
Behind the headstock is equipped with a device for lubricating all transmission mechanisms, and a gear oil pump driven by a separate motor supplies oil. In order to ensure that the lubrication conditions of the front and rear bearings of the main shaft are good, not only a separate oil pipe with sufficient oil quantity is used for lubrication, but also a mercury switch-type protection device is used to protect the oil quantity.
3.3 Slide box
Slider box is a closed box, fixed under the front of the large knife holder, which is equipped with a servo feed mechanism and ball screw drive. The function of the slider box is to make the knife holder obtain various movements.
3.4 Tool holder
The machine tool holder is a cast steel overall tool holder. Its power is equipped with a servo feed mechanism and ball screw drive, which drives the horizontal slide plate to make lateral movement. A knife pad is installed at the front end of the horizontal slide plate, which is used for placing the knife top.
3.5 Tailstock
The tailstock adopts an integral part. The upper body of the tailstock has a main shaft component and a sleeve moving mechanism, and the lower body of the tailstock is equipped with a fast moving mechanism and a tailstock anti-retraction mechanism. The tailstock fast-moving mechanism is dragged by the motor on the rear side of the reduction gearbox, passes through a pair of spur gears and worm gears, and is transmitted to the final link, the gear rack and rack, to make the tailstock move quickly. The tailstock anti-return mechanism is provided with a manipulating handle at the tail end of the tailstock, which is used to operate the half-fishtail-shaped anti-return claw. When the tailstock is fixed, the manipulator handle can be inserted into the cast teeth on the side of the bed.
